We practiced one of the most difficult types of portrait photography: The Large Group while we toured around the Upper Valley Loop on our final excursion. Finding the right location and lighting are key elements, then you need to pose the group for a nice composition. And of course, there are usually sub groups, so each family portrait must be done while some other groups become tired and diffucult. Oh yes, to all-too-familiar LARGE GROUP PORTRAIT. Here are two series taken by Oakley with a light-hearted, fun approach, and by Julie who was more traditional in her posing.
